A European Online Classroom for Local Change

23.05.2018

The Social Entrepreneurship for Local Change project has been running for three years now. During this period a five-universities consortium and three NGO partners have designed and tested a blended learning course on Social Entrepreneurship. From Kiel University, Assistant Professor for Entrepreneurship Dr. Petra Dickel and Frauke Godat (PerLe – project for successful teaching and learning) have contributed to the curriculum design. In addition, further teaching assistants and students from Kiel University have participated as (online) tutors.

The specific features of this course are:

  • A combination of an online course with a 10-days Intensive Study Programme
  • A student-centred course design
  • The participants are both interdisciplinary and international
  • An example of teaching across institutional and national boundaries

During the online multiplier event we will share lessons learnt from the experiences of three pilot courses that have been conducted since March 2016.

You can join this event online from your own computer. Please register first by completing this survey. The link to the session and further instructions will be send to you shortly before the event.

The multiplier event will be organised on Tuesday, June 5, 2018 from 14 00 – 15 30 pm CEST.

After a general presentation in the plenary room we will split into four parallel groups. Please download the programme to get further details about the parallel sessions.
