On December 2, 2019, Prof. Dr. Ron Piccolo (UCF) held the first part of the PhD seminar on "Writing a Theory Section". More than 20 PhD candidates from Hamburg and Kiel got inspiring insights on writing a theory section as well as on responding to reviewer comments.

Prof. Dr. Piccolo is Department Chair and the Galloway Professor of Management in the College of Business at the University of Central Florida. His research on leadership, motivation, job design and personality has been published in top academic journals such as the Academy of Management Journal, Journal of Applied Psychology, Personnel Psychology, Journal of Management, and the Journal of Organizational Behavior. In 2018, he was recognized by the Academy of Management Learning and Education as one of the Top 100 Most Influential authors in organizational behavior. In 2019, he was recognized by The Leadership Quarterly as one of the most highly cited leadership scholars since 1990.
