The article "Consumers’ Climate Change Engagement: Conceptualization, Scale Development, and Assessment" has recently been accepted for publication in the Journal of Business Research and is now available open access at:

As climate-related challenges continue to grow, understanding how consumers engage with climate change through their consumption behaviors becomes increasingly important. This paper introduces and validates the Consumers’ Climate Change Engagement (CCCE) scale—a concise, nine-item measure capturing consumers’ cognitive, emotional, and behavioral responses to climate change in consumption contexts.
This publication is the result of a collaborative effort between Sören Köcher (TU Dortmund University), Linda Alkire (Texas State University), Sarah Köcher (Kiel University), Susan Myrden (University of Maine), Genevieve O’Connor (Fordham University).
