Ronit Kark and Claudia Buengeler have published a commentary titled “Wo∼Men and Leadership: Re-Thinking the State of Research on Gender and Leadership Through Waves of Feminist Thinking” in the Journal of Leadership & Organizational Studies. The paper examines leadership research through the lens of four waves of feminist thought and discusses the implications for both women and men in leadership roles. It highlights the importance of integrating contemporary feminist perspectives to advance leadership theory and identifies new directions for future research in the field.
